Chaplaincy
Primary and Secondary Schools & Sixth Form
Chaplaincy is a growing and vital part of the life of the Church in the schools, academies and colleges of our Diocese.
We provides direct support for School Chaplains and School Chaplaincy Co-ordinators by running Chaplaincy Training Days. Support, facilitation, training and advice can also be made available on a local level. Schools wishing to appoint to the reserved post of Chaplain should contact our office for Diocesan support and advice during the recruitment process.
Nationally the Association of Catholic Chaplains in Education (ACCE) and the Centre for Chaplaincy in Education also provide resourcing, networking and support.
Support for Chaplaincy, please contact Alex Heath at alex.heath@northamptondiocese.org for more details about School Chaplaincy provision.
